Driving home yesterday we noticed that by 7:00am the parking lots visible from the highway were full. A Best Buy in Maryland was not just busy but completely full with vehicles circling around the edges trolling for parking. We couldn't believe it. I guess it is the busiest shopping day of the year. Today, my Dad told me a woman in Florida was knocked down in a Wal-Mart by other shoppers and nearly crushed, read it here. Don't people think about buying gifts the other three hundred or so days a year? Sure, there's some last minute stuff to get or people you forgot but can't they phone or order on the internet or even wait until Monday evening for the crowds to abate a little? Why anyone would subject themselves to that I can't understand.
